1. Introduction
Welcome to Wanderlust. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and our travel planning services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our services.
Wanderlust is a travel planning agency operating under the laws of Germany. We act as an intermediary between you and third-party service providers such as airlines, hotels, tour operators, and transport companies.

- "Contract" refers to the agreement formed between the Client and Wanderlust upon confirmation of a booking or service engagement.
3. Services and Bookings
3.1. Nature of Services
Wanderlust provides personalized travel planning services. While we strive to ensure accuracy in all information provided, including pricing and availability, we are reliant on Third-Party Providers for the final confirmation of all bookings.
3.2. Booking Process
A booking is considered confirmed only when:
- We have received a completed booking request form.
- Any applicable deposits or full payments have been cleared in our bank account.
- Written confirmation has been sent to you via email.
3.3. Itinerary Changes
Travel arrangements are subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, strikes, or operational changes by Third-Party Providers. We reserve the right to alter itineraries if deemed necessary for the safety or quality of the trip. In such cases, we will offer comparable alternatives where available.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1. Service Fees
Our fees for travel planning and consultation are separate from the cost of the travel arrangements themselves. A non-refundable planning fee may apply to custom itinerary requests. This will be clearly stated before you commit to any service.
4.2. Deposits
For most travel packages, a deposit of 30% of the total estimated cost is required to secure reservations. This deposit is non-refundable unless the Third-Party Provider provides a refund due to their cancellation policy.
4.3. Final Payment
Final payment is typically due 60 days prior to departure. For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required immediately. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in the cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of your deposit.
4.4. Price Changes
Prices quoted are based on current rates and are subject to change until full payment is received. We are not liable for price fluctuations caused by currency exchange rates, fuel surcharges, or tax increases imposed by governments or Third-Party Providers.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1. Cancellation by the Client
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing via email. Cancellation fees will apply based on the timing of the cancellation and the policies of the specific Third-Party Providers involved. As a general guideline:
- Cancellation more than 60 days prior: Loss of deposit.
- Cancellation 30-60 days prior: 50% of total cost.
- Cancellation less than 30 days prior: 100% of total cost.
5.2. Cancellation by Wanderlust
We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to force majeure events, safety concerns, or non-payment. In the event that we cancel a booking, we will refund all payments made to us for services that cannot be provided. We are not liable for any additional expenses incurred by you (e.g., non-refundable flights booked independently).
6. Client Responsibilities
6.1. Travel Documentation
It is your responsibility to ensure that you possess valid passports, visas, and health certificates required for your journey. Wanderlust is not liable if you are denied entry or exit due to insufficient documentation. We advise checking entry requirements at least 3 months prior to travel.
6.2. Health and Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, and baggage loss. You must inform us of any medical conditions or special requirements at the time of booking.
6.3. Conduct
You are expected to behave in a manner that is respectful to local cultures, fellow travelers, and service staff. We reserve the right to terminate services for any client whose behavior is deemed disruptive, illegal, or dangerous to themselves or others. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
7. Limitation of Liability
Wanderlust acts only as an agent for Third-Party Providers in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, tours, or other services. We do not own, control, or operate any of these Third-Party Providers.
Therefore, we shall not be liable for:
- Any injury, death, loss, or damage to person or property.
- Delays, cancellations, or changes in itinerary caused by Third-Party Providers.
- Acts of God, war, strikes, terrorism, or other causes beyond our control.
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount of the service fees paid to Wanderlust.
